This can be a very good question to ask ourselves when we ask with the right intentions. When we ask this question with an attitude of “this is okay, but how could it be better or even better?” we can actually raise our vibe and put ourselves in alignment with all of our desires.
Often we are so focused on what we view as the “big” issues in our lives, the “big” things we want and the problems we have to solve, that we overlook the ways in which we can put ourselves in a better vibration more easily by focusing upon the routine things we do often.
Abraham-Hicks has often said that “it is as easy to create a castle as a button.” While I know that’s true, it’s also easy to make a very big deal about the things we’d like to manifest that we view as major and having lots of moving parts or a long gestation period. I imagine that I am not the only person who has inwardly said “HOOOOOOWWWWWW?” when we’ve thought about the castle and button analogy. And, focusing on the “how’s” is not our job.
When we accept that it’s the SAME ENERGY that creates the unexpected phone call from a good friend as well as the huge bank account, we are on the pathway to the bank account and anything else that we desire.
What we often skip over is the way in which our mood, our vibration, is a reflection of what we are doing and thinking right now. Whether we are at work, working at home, writing a blog post, doing laundry, making lunch, or eating a meal, we bring ourselves to the activity. If we are not particularly enjoying it or are focused elsewhere, we are missing an opportunity to create more and better.
It’s helpful to stop and ask the question, “How could this be better?” or “How could this be even better?” when we’re engaged in routine tasks or activities. When we set the intention to maximize our enjoyment of whatever we decide to do, ideas for enhancing our mood and the way we are engaging in what we are doing will show up for us.
When we decide that we need to do laundry, the refrain in our head might be, “ugh, gotta get this done. How does it pile up so fast? I wish I hadn’t bought this because it’s going to need to be ironed. I don’t have time to be doing this.” On the other hand, we could have some good music playing in the background while we’re sorting or folding and we could be thinking that we are SO LUCKY that we have a washer and dryer in our house, that we don’t have to go to a laundromat, that laundry is actually one of the easier chores we have. The vibrational difference between those two refrains is huge.
When we are buying or making our lunch we can be choosing things that taste better, are better, that we really enjoy rather than just wolfing something down quickly with no thought. Even something as simple as putting some lemon in our iced tea or sitting outdoors can uplevel the moment.
We can become so enmeshed in our daily rituals that we don’t maximize the benefits that are always there to make things a little better and to feel a little better. When we raise our vibration in those easy-breezy, small ways throughout our day, we are raising our vibrational setpoint and creating more speed and ease in manifesting the things in our lives that we really, really want.
Yep, just put some lemon in my iced tea.

As humans, egos, separated selves in this world, we largely focus our attention on what we think that we think we do not want. Instead of focusing on not desiring to do laundry, we may consider that there are many, perhaps most of the people of the world, who do not have to do laundry, because they have no laundry appliances, or because they have no clothes except what is on their backs, or because they have no water due to an extended drought in a desert like environment.
Instead of focusing on not wanting to cook and clean the kitchen, or grocery shop, we could pause just an instant to consider so many in the world that do not have to do those things because there is no kitchen, no food, no stores.
Instead of focusing attention on what we do not want, we are free, have free will to change but our minds, to pivot our focus of attention in an attitude of gratitude for what we do have, and want and desire what we do have. Every mind has within it all power and dominion over all it chooses to think and feel. It is as easy to choose a happy thought, a thought of gratitude, as to choose, elect, decide on a focus on negatives.
The power of positive thinking is innate in every mind, a thought already there and waiting to be chosen. An attitude of gratitude is available in every mind, just beyond the illusion of the negative ideas and the attitudes of dread, worry, fear, and blame. It is all an inside job, a free will decision, to pivot from insane ideas of what we do not want, to a focus on thankfulness for what we have.
How do we suppose that those people made a world of no clothes and no food? We make the world with our thought-vibrations, drawing unto ourselves all things upon which we focus attention and belief. If nothing else, we should/must be careful what we ask for by focusing attention. What we think about, we bring about.
What is the Law of Attraction? “That which is like unto itself, is drawn.” If I knew that I am the power of attraction that draws unto me all things I experience, would I allow my mind to focus my vibration on what I do not want?
Be aware of what thoughts, focus, and feelings are drawing/blocking an outcome. It is impossible to hold opposing thoughts, focus, or feeling, but whatsoever is held will draw the representation of what we hold, because we inevitably receive that for which we ask with our vibration. As I think in my heart, so I am, because I draw unto me the self and experience which is like unto my vibrational asking/drawing. My vibration is a magnet drawing unto me the representation/manifestation of my chosen focus, thought, and feeling. It is impossible that I not receive as I have asked, and it is impossible that I receive anything for which I did not ask, even if I forgot the negative vibration I held as a free will choice
The good news it that I am free to choose again and again until I get it right. I am free to change my mind. I am free to lift up my thought-vibrations as high as I desire or am willing. Only I can deny myself anything. Only I can draw unto me anything, even when I judge and blame some source or cause outside of my vibration/mind.
The power of choice is my own. The power of free will is my own. The power of decision is my own.
To imagine that there is any cause beyond myself, my mind, my vibration, is to imagine in vain that I have given away my power to the one whom I blame/empowered. That is self-delusion, self-deception, self-dissociation, a decision to make believe I am not what I am, but a victim of what I cause with my vibration. Yet, I am free to look with greater charity upon my I am, accept responsibility for everything that seems to happen, and train my mind to choose a better way, a happier feeling thought, a higher vibration, an enlightened drawing of only what I do want.
