I was fortunate to have not only a fun, but also amazingly informative interview with Life Coach Laura Gevanter of Present Tense Coaching last week.  It was entitled “All About Fear – What it is and How to Eliminate It.”  You can find the recording at www.blogtalkradio.com.  I think it’s well worth a bit of your time, as it can help you to learn more productive ways of dealing with fear.  Although this is Laura’s radio show, we switched roles and I interviewed her about her process for dealing with fear, which she had alluded to previously when she interviewed me about my Course/e-book, “How to Allow,” (www.howtoallow.net).   I had really been looking forward to hearing what Laura had to say about fear, which touches nearly everyone, and I wasn’t disappointed. Again, I can’t recommend her process highly enough and encourage you to either listen to the broadcast or get in touch with Laura, who is an amazing and wise Coach.

What also came up around the topic of fear, and what it is and why we experience it, is the topic of worry, a close cousin.  I’ve given the topic quite a bit of thought in the interim and it’s been amazing, knowing the way the Law of Attraction works, how the topics of fear and worry have come up in so many forms around the date of that interview.  During my son’s high school graduation, the commencement speaker’s theme was, “What Would You Do If You Weren’t Afraid?”  I spoke with a few friends about how we sometimes think of ourselves as problem solvers and start scanning our brains for the next problem in our lives as soon as we’ve solved one problem.  And then we begin to worry about the problem.  Not exactly a good way to Allow our Well-Being.  We know already that constantly worrying about our problems will only create more problems to worry about.

So what’s the solution?  We’ve talked in prior posts about how the solution comes into being instantaneously as the problem is created.  And, that’s a comforting thing to know.  Our solution immediately materializes in our vibrational escrow and is only waiting for us to raise our vibration to be in alignment with it.  And, in my last blog post we discussed the fact that everything we’re desiring actually materializes and dematerializes in our grid or vortex, depending upon how we are thinking about it.  That was certainly mind-blowing, not to mention motivating.  So, once again it comes down to focus.  We can choose to focus on the problem and even how the problem could get worse and spiral out of control, or we could immediately, or as quickly as possible, switch gears to focusing on the many ways a solution could take care of the whole problem.  And, as we’ve discussed before, the solution doesn’t have to be extremely realistic in that moment, although it could be.  It could also be very imaginative and even bordering on delusional.  All that’s required is that we shift our focus off of our problem and onto potential solutions.  We’re merely looking for relief and once we find that feeling of relief, then we’re on the way to a solution, which could happen extremely quickly.  It’s all a matter of getting relief by imagining a better result and thereby raising our vibration.

In my interview with Laura, one question which came up which we’ve both encountered, is whether it’s irresponsible not to worry, especially about our loved ones?  Does it mean we don’t care enough or are selfish not to be holding their problems as our object of attention?  Although I can’t say that I never experience fear or worry, I am finding it easier and easier not to worry about those I care about.  And, it definitely does not mean that I don’t care or am not concerned about their Well-being. We are incredibly powerful beings when we are tuned in with our Source; we literally have the energy that creates worlds at our disposal when we raise our vibration into the upper emotional ranges such as happiness, hopefulness and joy.  And we have a cast of thousands working on our behalf when we are in that high vibration, where the solutions lie.  And, when we focus on our loved ones in that state of positive energy, visualizing them as they would like to be, as Who They Really Are, and problem free, we serve as a powerful beacon, which actually intensifies the flow of Well-Being going to their aid.  Once I learned that, I do everything within my power not to worry about my children, my family’s health, my parents, my friends, or anything else that could be easy to worry about.  I want to be an uplifter and helpful to the people I love.  I want the people in my orbit to be in a better place and to experience relief by their association with me.  And, that is true of my readers and clients as well.

It can be especially tricky when approached with a pretty serious problem by a client, a situation that just brings out every bit of my compassion.  I have to take a deep breath, often, and remind myself that nothing has gone wrong here.  This can all be turned around in a heartbeat. And, I can do my best to be a catalyst toward this client finding even the smallest amount of relief in their situation.  And, I help neither of us by dropping down to their lower vibration to wallow with them in how difficult the situation may be.  It takes some focus and will power but it’s really the only way to be the uplifter I choose to be.

I happened to see a wonderful Abraham quote today about how our relationships with others are governed by our imagination.  And, I think this applies to everything from the way we interact with them to how we might help them to be the version of them that they most want to be, the version of them that’s in our vibrational vortex.  And, this happens to be the opposite of worrying about them.

You have the power to evoke from others the relationships that you desire.  But you cannot get to a new and improved situation by giving your attention to the current situation.  The Universe, and all physical and Non-Physical players in it, is responding to the vibration you are offering; and there is no distinction made between the Vibrations you offer as you observe, and the Vibrations you offer as you imagine .   .   .   If you will simply imagine your life as you want it to be, all cooperative components will be summoned.  And, even more important, all components that are summoned will cooperate.  It is Law.  The experience that you have with others is about what you evoke from them.”

So worry, that close cousin of fear, is really much like praying for our worst outcome.  I know it’s easier said than done sometimes, boy do I realize that, but when we know that by worrying we’re creating more to worry about and even affecting the relationships we have with others, it’s so very worth it to shift gears into imagining a better outcome.  And, we feel lots better in the process.  Our body relaxes, our health improves and we’re actually helping ourselves and the people we care about.  By creating a worry free zone (or as close as we can get) we’re creating a haven for ourselves and our loved ones.  And, that is “How to Allow” our Natural Well-Being and live the lives we were meant to live.
